Emily Robertson: Introducing Your Race Day LIVE Host

Meet Stellenbosch local and Trail Culture host Emily Robertson as she shares why the MaxiRace is close to her heart and to many other in the Stellies community. Involved in the MaxiRace from its inaugural year in 2019, Emily’s journey with the event has included everything from route marking to running it herself – Her experience sparked her love for trail running and ultimately paved the way for the creation of the Trail Culture Podcast. A Podcast inspired by her desire to tell local trail stories; Emily will be using her expertise to bring everyone closer to the action with this year’s LIVE broadcast! Don’t miss out.

Julian Vermeer: “The Trail Fixer”

Andri Stander: Race Update

With just one week left until race day, Andri provides a sneak peek into the hard work going into making a memorable Maxi2024. The youngest representative of the Z-Team, ZlaantHero Liam may just be starting out, but he already has his fair share of podium experiences as he pursues his passion of trail running. Liam will be taking on his longest competitive run yet at this year’s MaxiRace and in doing so will also be the youngest amongst the 30km runners. Coming all the way from Plett and missing some school in the process, hear from Liam himself as he explains where his love of trail running started and how he hopes to inspire other young trail runners.
